Emma Resmini returns to the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival to perform as soloist with the orchestra on J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 (with Joan Griffing, violin, and Marvin Mills, harpsichord) and Telemann's Concerto for Flute, Oboe d’amore, and Viola d’amore (with Sandra Gerster, oboe d’amore, and Paul Miller, viola d’amore). SoundLAB: Into Darkness

Emma Resmini joins SoundLAB, a contemporary music ensemble led by Music Director Robert Whalen and Artistic Director Katherine Skovira. The ensemble debuts at the Philadelphia Orchestra’s Barnes/Stokowski Festival with the JACK Quartet, featuring U.S. and Philadelphia premieres of works by contemporary composers.

On October 16th, Emma will give the U.S. premiere of Archèlogos II, for bass flute and audio track, by Sophie Lacaze.
